I thank you for your Henry IV rumor posting on my own as a Shakespeare scholar, and on behalf of my Shakespeare colleagues. In a lifetime of devoted study, a new story is a treasured gift. And this one totally escaped me = until now. And from 1832? Brilliant!!!
So, thank you so much!
Sincerely, Janet
I was going through and doing some minor maintenance on several profiles and wanted to let you know I added your name to the Acknowledgments section for William McComb so you could edit it how you'd like; plus I don't think my name should stay solo since we merged a while back :) Cheers! Becky Elizabeth
P.S. - is there a link to the way you've done your homepage showing the direct relationships? I've got several greatgrgrgrgr grandparents that were kings and queens etc and would like to do something like that for my immediate family to have... Thanks Again!! Becks
As for the set up on my home page,,, There is information on and how to go about creating a multitude of Stickers here https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Category:Stickers&pageFrom=A#Pages The following is the input formula for the First Sticker on my Homepage,,, just fill in the ancestors details while in Edit and it should show up on you home page... can go back and edit if mistakes are made. Type {{ }} at the beginning and end of format below with your personal ancestor info. for the image and box to be created.... if I do it here you'll not see the format,,, it will automatically create the Boxed image. Have fun.

Burrell McClendon is not the son of Samuel McClendon and Fanny Dumas. He is the son of James. There are 2 branches of McClendon 1.Greasy Cove 2. Springville McClendon. The Greasy Cove McClendons are James McClendon Family and the Springville McClendons are Samuel McClendons Family. I come off the Springville Line. Andrew Moorman McClendon.
Thank you Sean McClendon
Please don't add the husband's name as Current Last Name for French married women. All the documents bear their MAIDEN name, they signed their maiden name. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:France_Project_Guidelines_for_Name_Fields#Family_Names

I've noticed that you've been creating new pre-1700 profiles without citing a reliable source (online family trees are not reliable sources for pre-1700 profiles). Part of pre-1700 certification requires the addition of a reliable source when profiles are created. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources.
If you could go back and ensure those profiles you added are sourced appropriately, it would be very much appreciated!
Thanks, Traci
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
I am pleased to welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration. Don't be afraid to ask questions in our G2G forum and get involved as much or as little as works for you. Be sure to check out the tabs at the very top right hand side of your profile, there is lots to discover!
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do!
Happy tree climbing
